At RS Hawk nest #1, Dad brings some food to the nest and then quickly leaves
At this age the chicks are expected to feed themselves. One of them pleads with Mom to feed him, but to no avail.
The chicks at RS Hawk nest #2 are beginning to stretch their wings and hop up and down. Over the next few
weeks this will intensify, eventually culminating with first flight.
One of the parents drops off some food at this nest and then leaves. As in nest #1, these chicks are expected to
feed themselves now.
