Tips for Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography is an endeavor with many rewards. My camera provides a wonderful excuse for getting out into the natural world. Any good shots I get are a nice bonus and if I get a calendar shot, then it's a great bonus. But it's always nice just to be out there. When I started this endeavor I was happy just to get snapshots of the many wild inhabitants of our world, especially birds. But now I want to take photographs, not just snapshots. The track to reach that goal is long and nonlinear. As I make progress I'll share what I learn here.
